The deadline for 2012 has now passed. All enquiries regarding booth sales in 2012 must be placed to 17-mai@bergen-chamber.no. Information on booth sales 2013 will be posted by the end of March 2013.

SALES BOOTHS

May 17th the city center is full of people who are interested in buying food, drink and various 17th of May articles. It is possible, on this day, to rent sales booths on Festplassen, Byparken and the market place.

WHERE?

The 17th of May Committee offers attractive booths, which are rented out to organizations and private individuals. The booths are mostly located on the edge of Festplassen and most of Byparken. There are also a few spaces on the Market (Torget) and Vågsallmenningen.

HOW?

Those who wish to obain a sales authorization on the 17th of May have to submit an application and simultaneously pay the advance sales tax. Experience show that most applications are granted. Sales tax will be refunded to those applicants who are declined. It is easiest to apply for a sales permits on the web, see the following pages for further information and booking / payment. We also sell licenses for the market stalls and ambulatory sales (for example, balloon sellers). Application and payment deadline in 2012 is 20 April.
